Job Title: Senior Manager, Financial Operations
Location: Remote, US
At Neovance, we’re transforming the patient experience by driving better outcomes through compassion, innovation, and operational excellence. With more than 30 years of experience partnering with the biopharmaceutical industry, we deliver agile, technology-enabled patient access solutions that help people start and stay on therapy.
Our expertise spans HUB services, patient assistance programs, field reimbursement, nursing, and non-commercial pharmacy - each designed to remove barriers to care and ensure patients receive the therapies they need when they need them.
Guided by our values of Agility, Integrity, Tenacity, Unity, and Quality, we work as one Neovance team to optimize access, enhance adherence, and make a meaningful impact, one patient at a time.
The Opportunity:
As our Senior Manager, Finance Operations, you’ll lead Neovance’s day-to-day financial operations and be a trusted partner to leadership on budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cost management. You’ll also own procurement and vendor management, from sourcing and contract negotiation to vendor performance, along with our real estate portfolio and insurance program.
This is a high-visibility finance and procurement leadership role for someone who loves turning numbers into decisions, negotiating smart deals, and building the controls and processes that help a growing healthcare services company scale.
What You'll Do:
Financial Management
- Monitor departmental financial performance, departmental spend, and budget-to-actual variances; explain drivers and recommend corrective action
- Prepare recurring financial reports and dashboards, and deliver clear insights to business leadership
- Identify cost-saving and operational efficiency opportunities, and quantify their financial impact
Procurement & Sourcing
- Lead procurement activities, including needs assessment, sourcing strategy, RFIs/RFPs, bid evaluation, and supplier selection
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, service levels, and commercial terms in partnership with Legal
- Maintain a contract repository and renewal calendar so that no renewal is missed or auto-renewed without review
Vendor Management
- Manage strategic vendor relationships, renewals, and contract renegotiations
- Monitor vendor performance against SLAs, KPIs, and contractual obligations; run periodic business reviews with key vendors
- Track vendor spend, realized savings, and overall procurement performance
- Resolve vendor billing disputes, service failures, and performance issues
- Administrate real estate portfolio
- Manage company insurance program
Cross-Functional Partnership & Continuous Improvement
- Partner with Finance, Legal, Operations, IT, and business stakeholders on procurement and vendor initiatives
- Drive process improvements that optimize cost, efficiency, and vendor performance
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of progressive financial operations experience, including 2–3+ years in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management.
- A track record of negotiating vendor contracts and delivering documented cost savings.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling) and experience with an ERP such as NetSuite plus spend or contract management tools.
- Project management skills and experience partnering cross-functionally.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder skills, with confidence presenting to senior leadership.
- Nice to have: CPA, CMA, CPSM, CPM, or MBA; healthcare, pharmacy, or patient services experience; Power BI or similar BI tools; experience building a procurement function, managing commercial leases, or running a corporate insurance program.
All job offers are determined based on a candidate’s location, skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
Regular, full-time, or part-time employees working 30 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including:
- Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage
- Life Insurance
- Short- and Long-Term Disability
- 401(k) with a 5% company match with immediate vesting
- Personal Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO)
