Job Description

NB Ventures Inc. dba GEP seeks Senior Principal Software Engineer in Clark, NJ.

Duties: Responsible for solution and migration strategy to Azure PaaS & IaaS and responsible for defining the roadmap. Involved completely in the development of Application for the Hand-Held Computer using C#. Creation of business services that are exposed as RESTful API and follows the ROA (Resource oriented architecture). Responsible for the development, enhancement, testing, support, maintenance, and troubleshooting/debugging of software applications that support business units. Develop software application on SMART by GEP Procure to Pay (P2P) platform. Responsible for managing timely and quality deliverables through Agile or Iterative development process. Application of full SDLC & Object-oriented programming concepts. Responsible for collaborating with the existing technology team to understand and leverage current technology components available under existing products. Develop, maintain code for new and existing modules for a cloud-based supply chain and procurement software solution. Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code and utilizing HTML5,CSS3 and responsive Web design methodologies. Review and debug existing lines of code for modules. Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture, design, and code.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field and 4 years of experience as Software Engineer or in a related computer software professional occupation. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent), in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field and 1 year of experience as Software Engineer or in a related computer software professional occupation. Position requires at least one (1) year of professional experience in each of the following: ASP.Net, C#, and Angular 2.

Telecommuting permitted as determined by employer. May require travel or relocation to various unanticipated locations within the U.S.
