Original job description

Natural Habitat Adventures (Nat Hab), a nature-focused global adventure travel company based in Boulder, Colorado, is seeking a Jr Engineer, Data Platform to join our Technology & Information Systems team. This is an entry-level engineering role focused on building, maintaining, and supporting the data platforms and integrations that power our business. You will work primarily with Snowflake, SQL, dbt, Python, and cloud-based data services to help ingest, transform, test, and maintain business data. You will also work with senior engineers and business partners to troubleshoot data issues, support applications and integrations, and build reliable data products. This is a hands-on learning role. You will receive guidance from experienced engineers while progressively taking ownership of increasingly complex work. The ideal candidate is curious, detail-oriented, comfortable learning new technologies, and interested in understanding both how systems work and how the business uses its data. This is a full-time, exempt position based in Boulder, Colorado. This role follows a hybrid work schedule and requires regular in-office attendance of three days per week. The successful candidate will align with our company's culture and values, possess exceptional organizational and communication skills, and thrive in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. Join our passionate team of adventure travel professionals and make a tangible impact on our mission to connect people with nature and inspire conservation through travel.
