Original job description

Why N-able

At N-able, we’re not just helping businesses be secure; we’re redefining what it means to be cyber resilient. Our end-to-end platform blends AI-powered capabilities and flexible tech stacks, so customers can manage, secure, and recover with confidence. But the real power behind it all? Our people. We’re a global crew of N-ablites, who love solving complex problems, sharing knowledge, and delivering solutions that actually make a difference. If you're into meaningful work, fast growth, and a team that’s got your back, you’ll be surrounded by people who believe in what they do, and in you.

What You'll Do

Drive new business growth within an assigned territory by identifying, prospecting, and developing net-new sales opportunities.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline through consistent outbound prospecting, account research, networking, and strategic territory planning.
Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach and discovery through solution presentation, negotiation, and close.
Develop relationships with key decision-makers and executive-level stakeholders, including C-suite contacts, within target accounts.
Lead technical and business-focused sales conversations through phone, virtual, and in-person meetings, partnering with Sales Engineering resources when needed.
Identify customer business challenges and position the appropriate security, data protection, and broader solution portfolio to address their needs.
Develop and execute territory and account strategies focused on increasing market penetration, creating new opportunities, and winning new customers.
Collaborate with internal sales, technical, and partner teams throughout complex sales cycles to move opportunities forward and drive successful outcomes.

What You'll Bring

5–7 years of B2B sales experience with a demonstrated track record of generating pipeline, acquiring new customers, and consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Strong territory management skills, including planning, prospecting, pipeline development, and closing.
Ability to clearly communicate technical and business concepts through phone, web-based, and in-person presentations.
Proven self-starter who is highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities, projects, and customer opportunities at once.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership within an account team and ability to collaborate effectively across sales and other internal teams.
Experience working within complex sales cycles and influencing key decision-makers, including C-suite executives.
Proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft 365.
Comfortable leveraging modern productivity and AI tools, such as Copilot and Claude, to support day-to-day work.

Nice to Have

Experience selling solutions to MSPs.
Experience working in a collaborative, team-based sales environment.
Background selling cybersecurity or data protection solutions.
Experience selling security solutions such as MDR, XDR, or EDR.
Familiarity with sales engagement tools such as Nooks.
Proven success navigating complex solution-based sales and engaging senior-level stakeholders.

Medical, dental and vision – for employee, partner, and children!
Generous PTO and observed holidays
2 Paid VoluNteer Days per year
Retirement Savings Plan
Employee Stock Purchase Program
Free Lunch 2x per week at Collaboration Hubs
On-site gym access at select Collaboration Hubs
