Caregiver

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to our clients in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients and their families, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being in their home. This role requires a blend of personal care skills, patience, and empathy while working with a diverse population, including seniors and individuals with disabilities. Must be available every other weekend. Must be at least 18 years or older.

Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life.
• Monitor and document vital signs and changes in the client's condition.
• Help with medication reminders.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preference of the client.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Assist with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary.
• Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in community events.
• Provide specialized care for clients with Alzheimer's, dementia, or developmental disabilities.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care is delivered.
