Original job description
Location: Remote (US). Must be based in Dallas, San Francisco or New York City. Remote for now, with hybrid planned further down the road.

- L6 (Staff): $270,400–$365,000

Compensation is not an issue for the right person. The role pays nearly all cash: the bonus is folded into base, and there is an equity component on top.
A late-stage AI cloud company backed by NVIDIA, with a valuation in the billions, runs AI compute out of data centers around the world and is building dedicated, isolated GPU clusters for customers running AI training and inference. This role designs, builds and automates the data center networks underneath that platform, and keeps them running in production.
What you'll do
- Design and build data center network fabrics for large GPU clusters
- Automate network provisioning, configuration and change management in code
- Own BGP, routing policy, VLANs, VRFs and EVPN/VXLAN across sites
- Bring up and tune GPU networking (InfiniBand, RoCE) for performance and isolation
- Build network telemetry, and lead troubleshooting and incident response
- Work with the Kubernetes platform, compute and security teams
What you bring
- Production ownership of bare-metal leaf-spine data center networks
- Deep networking: TCP/IP, BGP, ECMP, segmentation, interconnects
- Network automation in Go or Python, with GitOps and controlled rollouts
- Linux and Kubernetes networking fundamentals
Nice to have: NVIDIA AI networking (InfiniBand, Spectrum-X, RDMA); Netris, UFM or NetBox; multi-site connectivity for large GPU clusters
