Bar Back

As the bartenders’ extra set of hands, your job as bar-back is to support anything and everything behind the bar. You’ll be responsible for maintaining stock, assisting during service and providing go-to support for all your bartenders' needs. There's potential opportunity for growth as many bartenders start as bar-backs.

Qualifications and Key Attributes:

• Well groomed and presentable.
• Very organized.
• Ability to prioritize.
• Ability to think ahead.
• Excellent communication skills, including a pleasant and professional phone manner.
• Problem solving ability.
• Ability to be perceptive to guest's needs.
• Ability to deal positive in stressful situations and remain calm.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Able to take direction.
• Able to deal with compliments and guest concerns with the support of management.

Key Responsibilities:

・ Clean/wipe down bar area counters, furniture, and tabletops

・ Wash glasses and dishes

・ Handle drink spills and broken glassware

・ Restock and replenish liquor, garnishes, and bar supplies

・ Change beer kegs

・ Empty trash and refill ice wells
