Position Summary Mosaic Construction Services is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead on-site construction operations. This role is responsible for managing daily field activities, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring safety and code compliance, and maintaining project schedule performance.
The Superintendent plays a critical role in delivering projects safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Field Leadership & Coordination
- Oversee daily field operations and subcontractor activities from project start to completion
- Supervise and mentor field staff and subcontractors
- Coordinate with inspectors, suppliers, and project teams
Scheduling & Project Execution
- Develop and maintain lookahead schedules
- Conduct regular foreman and subcontractor meetings
- Monitor progress and address delays proactively
Quality & Safety Management
- Perform regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Enforce OSHA guidelines and company safety policies
Problem Solving & Field Support
- Resolve on-site issues, including delays, conflicts, and technical challenges
- Assist in reviewing RFIs and submittals and provide input on construction methods
Communication & Reporting
- Provide weekly project updates to the Project Manager
- Maintain clear communication between field teams and office staff
Qualifications
- Experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar field leadership role
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices
- Understanding of OSHA safety standards and code compliance
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors and multiple trades
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

- Procore (preferred)
- Bluebeam
- Microsoft Office Suite
Work Environment
- Active construction job site environment
- Regular walking, climbing, and physical activity required
- Flexible schedule, including occasional weekends or extended hours
- Travel may be required depending on project location
