Position: Elementary After-School Music Club Instructor Location: Morrice Elementary School Date of Posting: November 6, 2026 Position Type: Part-Time / After-School Job Summary Morrice Area Schools is seeking an enthusiastic and creative individual to lead an after-school music club for elementary students. The instructor will provide a fun, engaging, and supportive environment where students can explore music, develop musical skills, and build confidence through hands-on activities. The program will focus on introducing students to various aspects of music, including rhythm, singing, instruments, and musical expression. The goal is to encourage creativity, teamwork, and an appreciation for music while providing students with a positive after-school experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan and lead age-appropriate music activities for elementary students.
• Introduce students to basic musical concepts, including rhythm, melody, and musical expression.
• Provide opportunities for students to explore singing, instruments, and group performances.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
• Encourage student participation, creativity, and teamwork.
• Maintain appropriate student supervision and behavior expectations.
• Communicate with school administration regarding program activities, scheduling, and student needs.
• Organize a student performance or showcase when appropriate.
• Ensure the proper use, care, and storage of musical equipment and materials.

Schedule The music club will meet after school on designated days throughout the school year. Specific days, times, and program duration will be determined based on student interest and district needs. Reports To Elementary Principal
