Assistant Service Manager

Our community has 160 units, and we need someone who takes pride in the details, treats residents and teammates like neighbors, and brings fresh ideas to the shop. • $300 Morgan Essentials paid quarterly
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Responsibilities:

• Partner with the Property Manager and Service Manager to schedule make-ready work for vacant units and build a daily production schedule that keeps things moving
• Lead the team in diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structural, and appliance issues
• Complete work orders within 24 hours and jump in on high-level repairs when needed
• Inspect completed work to make sure it meets Morgan standards, so residents come home to a well-kept community
• Walk the grounds and common areas, including weekly light inspections, to keep the property clean, safe, and well lit
• Help create the preventative maintenance, make-ready, and on-call schedules
• Take part in the 24-hour on-call rotation and be available for emergencies such as snow and ice

What We Need From You:

• Valid driver’s license
• CPO/HVAC or related certifications are preferred but not required
• At least 1-2 years of experience in the same or a similar field

If you are hired at Morgan Properties, your overall compensation package will also be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
