R&D Mechanical Engineer

Momentive Technologies (Strongsville, OH) seeking R&D Mechanical Engineer responsible for new product introduction, customer technical service, manufacturing technical support and market development. Will be subject matter expert in mechanical design, simulation, and testing, aiding in the growth and development of semiconductor wafer processing solutions. Requires master's degree in mechanical engineering or closely related (foreign equivalent accepted) and two years' hands-on experience in the following: managing multiple prototyping projects, gauge development and fixture designs including CAD tools, material characterization, selection, and testing, simulations using software like Ansys and COMSOL, Labview or Matlad, Origin or Minitab, and a minimum of one year experience with conventional machine techniques, dimensional characterization tools, non-conventional machining techniques like EDM, non-destructive material testing like microscopy and X-ray imaging, and Lean Six Sigma.
