Technical Program & Project Management Associate

Akkodis is seeking a Technical Program & Project Management Associate for a Contract with a client in Long Beach, CA. The ideal candidate will support the development and launch of next-generation automotive seating systems by managing risks, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment. Rate Range: $40/Hour to $50/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Technical Program & Project Management Associate Responsibilities include:

• Drive technical program execution for automotive seating systems from concept development through production launch.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, finance, and manufacturing to meet program objectives.
• Identify, track, and mitigate program risks while ensuring schedule, quality, cost, and performance targets are achieved.
• Support design reviews, validation activities, virtual builds, and production readiness events to ensure successful product development.
• Maintain strong supplier partnerships to secure timely delivery of components and support build activities.
• Provide clear program status updates, facilitate decision-making meetings, and drive issue resolution to keep projects on track.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 2-5 years of experience in Technical Program Management, Project Engineering, or hardware product development.
• Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle, including design, validation, integration, and production launch.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects and coordinating engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing teams.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $50.00 per hour
