Technical Lead

Modis is seeking a Technical Lead for a Contract with a client in Irving, TX/ Temple terrace, FL (Hybrid). The ideal candidate will lead the design and development of scalable Java-based microservices and real-time data pipelines to deliver high-performance, responsive applications. Rate Range: $49/hour to $52/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Technical Lead Responsibilities include:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable Java-based microservices and enterprise applications.
• Build and optimize real-time and near real-time data pipelines using Apache Spark, PySpark, Kafka, and Flink.
• Develop responsive web applications using React/Angular, Spring Boot, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions and technical guidance.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive performance improvements.
• Ensure code quality through unit and integration testing, version control best practices, and adherence to development standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in software development with strong expertise in Java and Microservices architecture.
• Proven experience leading development teams and delivering enterprise-scale applications in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB and modern front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $52.00 per hour
