Software Engineer Java

Akkodis is seeking a Software Engineer Java for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize scalable full-stack applications that deliver exceptional user experience and meet evolving business needs. Rate Range: $55/Hour to $65/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Software Engineer Java Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, designers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Create intuitive, responsive user interfaces and develop robust APIs and microservices to support business applications.
• Define and implement software architecture, testing strategies, and best practices to ensure performance, reliability, and security.
• Utilize Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tools to streamline software development and deployment processes.
• Continuously enhance application performance, evaluate emerging technologies, and support innovation through modern development practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6+ years of IT experience, including 4+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), JavaScript, React, Angular, HTML5, CSS3, Apache Sling, and Java.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and modern software development practices including CI/CD and Agile methodologies.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
