Senior IBM Sterling OMS Developer

Modis is seeking a Senior IBM Sterling OMS Developer for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI. The ideal candidate will lead to the customization and enhancement of IBM Sterling OMS, Order Hub, and Call Center capabilities while ensuring high-quality, secure, and maintainable code delivery. Rate Range: $60/Hour to $70/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Senior IBM Sterling OMS Developer Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and enhance solutions on the IBM Sterling OMS platform to support order capture, fulfillment orchestration, inventory management, payments, and returns workflows.
• Configure and customize Sterling OMS core modules, including Process Modeling, Sourcing, Payments, Catalog, GIV, and Custom Agents.
• Develop and maintain scalable Java-based microservices, REST APIs, and integrations with enterprise systems.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to ensure high-quality, secure, and reliable software delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver business-critical OMS capabilities and continuous platform improvements.
• Contribute to the customization and enhancement of IBM Sterling Order Hub and Next Gen Call Center while supporting CI/CD, deployment, and production stability initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in IBM Sterling OMS development and implementation within large enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in IBM Sterling OMS core modules, process orchestration, sourcing, payments, inventory visibility, and Order Hub/Call Center customizations.
• Proven experience developing Java-based microservices, REST APIs, and enterprise system integrations with a strong focus on code quality and testing.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $70.00 per hour
