SAP technical lead

Modis is seeking an SAP technical lead for a Contract with a client in St. Louis, MO (Hybrid). The ideal candidate will lead the design, automation, and support of SAP BTP, HANA, IM, and T&Q solutions, ensuring reliable deployments and operational excellence across environments. Rate Range: $68/hour to $71/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

SAP technical lead Responsibilities include:

• Lead the design, implementation, and support of SAP BTP, SAP Incentive Management (IM), and Territory & Quota (T&Q) solutions across multiple environments.
• Build and maintain SAP CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments, releases, and environment management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP BTP deployment, integration, and platform-related issues.
• Diagnose and optimize SAP HANA database performance, SQL queries, and system stability.
• Support release management activities, including deployment planning, monitoring, rollback, and recovery procedures.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams while driving operational readiness and production support excellence.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in SAP technical development, deployment, and platform engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP HANA Database, SAP Incentive Management (IM), and Territory & Quota (T&Q).
• Proven experience building and implementing SAP CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release management processes.

Pay Details: $68.00 to $71.00 per hour
