IT Infrastructure Capacity Management Service Owner

Modis is seeking an IT Infrastructure Capacity Management Service Owner for a Contract with a client in Columbus, OH (Remote). The ideal candidate will lead the ownership and optimization of cloud infrastructure capacity services by monitoring performance, forecasting demand, and driving service reliability across Azure and AWS environments. Rate Range: $37/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

IT Infrastructure Capacity Management Service Owner Responsibilities include:

• Own and manage cloud infrastructure capacity services, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and scalability across Azure and AWS environments.
• Monitor capacity utilization, forecast future demand, and develop recommendations to support business and technology growth.
• Conduct capacity risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to prevent service disruptions and resource constraints.
• Maintain service dashboards, performance metrics, documentation, and executive-level reporting on capacity and service health.
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to drive capacity planning and service improvements.
• Support capacity governance, continuous optimization, incident follow-up, and initiatives that improve reliability, resilience, and cost efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience in IT service management, infrastructure operations, service delivery, or cloud infrastructure support.
• Strong understanding of cloud capacity management, forecasting, demand planning, and resource optimization within Azure and AWS environments.
• Experience in capacity risk assessment, governance, performance monitoring, and infrastructure service lifecycle management.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $45.00 per hour
