Engineering Technician

Akkodis is seeking an Engineering Technician for a Contract with a client in Torrance, CA. The ideal candidate will support the manufacturing and assembly of clinical and commercial products while ensuring quality standards are met. Rate Range: $27/Hour to $29/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engineering Technician Responsibilities include:

• Operate production and assembly equipment to manufacture clinical and commercial products.
• Follow blueprints, work instructions, and diagrams to ensure products meet specifications.
• Use precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, indicators, and height gauges, to verify quality and tolerances.
• Perform inspections and testing to maintain compliance with quality standards.
• Identify and report production issues, defects, or equipment concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment while meeting production goals.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or assembly environment.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, indicators, and height gauges.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical work instructions.

Pay Details: $27.00 to $29.00 per hour
