Data Analyst – Performance Analyst

Akkodis is seeking a Data Analyst – Performance Analyst for a Contract with a client in Santa Clara, CA. The ideal candidate will drive performance benchmarking and competitive analysis across gaming, AI, and workstation workloads to deliver actionable insights that influence product strategy and launch decisions. Rate Range: $50/hour to $59/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Data Analyst – Performance Analyst Responsibilities include:

• Conduct performance benchmarking and analysis across gaming, AI, workstation, and data science workloads.
• Evaluate and validate pre-production hardware, drivers, VBIOS, and emerging technologies.
• Investigate performance bottlenecks and collaborate with engineering teams to identify root causes and drive resolutions.
• Analyze competitive GPU performance data and provide insights that support product positioning and launch strategies.
• Develop clear reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings to technical and business stakeholders.
• Utilize tools such as Tableau, Grafana, and scripting solutions to enhance data visualization, automation, and reporting processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience in performance analysis, benchmarking, hardware validation, or a related technical role.
• Hands-on experience with GPU performance benchmarking, workload analysis, and performance metrics such as FPS, latency, thermals, and power utilization.
• Strong knowledge of PC hardware architecture, Linux environments, and the ability to identify and troubleshoot hardware or software performance bottlenecks.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $59.00 per hour
