Business Analyst

Akkodis is seeking a Business Analyst for a Contract with a client in Irving, TX (Remote). This role drives requirement gathering, data mapping, UAT execution, and stakeholder collaboration to support enterprise data quality and governance programs. Rate Range: $50/Hour to $53/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Business Analyst Responsibilities include:

• Gather, analyze, and document business, system, and data requirements for master data, reference data, and data governance initiatives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, and technical teams to translate business rules into scalable data solutions.
• Create and maintain process flows, data mappings, crosswalks, business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including test script creation, defect tracking, and business sign-off coordination.
• Define reporting requirements and support Power BI dashboard development to deliver meaningful business insights.
• Support data governance efforts by maintaining data definitions, business glossaries, quality standards, and stewardship processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting data management, data governance, or enterprise data programs.
• Strong expertise in Master Data Management (MDM), Reference Data, Data Governance, data mapping, and UAT testing.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Power BI, data quality validation, and requirements documentation for both business and technical audiences.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $53.00 per hour
