Connection Detailing: Design bolted and welded joints to ensure smooth load transfer between structural members.
Software Analysis: Utilize Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and modeling tools (like Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, STAAD, or SAP2000) to simulate structural behavior under environmental loads like wind and seismic activity.
Code Compliance: Ensure all plans meet building regulations and industry standards such as AISC (American Institute of Steel Construction), IBC (International Building Code), AWS (American Welding Society), and OSHA.
Collaboration & Oversight: Coordinate with architects, project managers, detailing teams, and fabrication shops, and conduct site inspections to verify structural soundness.
