Heat Treat Oven Operator & Chem Processing Tech

• Operate and monitor heat treat ovens, including loading/unloading parts, setting cycles, and verifying process parameters.
• Perform chemical processing operations such as cleaning, etching, passivation, anodizing, or other surface treatments according to aerospace specifications.
• Interpret and follow work instructions, process sheets, and aerospace standards (e.g., AMS, NADCAP, customer-specific requirements).
• Use precision measuring tools to verify part condition before and after processing.
• Maintain accurate process documentation, logs, and quality records.
• Conduct routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs.
• Handle chemicals safely, including mixing, testing, and monitoring solution concentrations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality requirements at all times.

Collaborate with quality inspectors, engineers, and production staff to resolve process issues

Qualifications

• Previous experience in heat treating, chemical processing, or aerospace manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and process specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Comfortable working around industrial equipment, chemicals, and hightemperature processes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work overtime or shifts as needed.
• NADCAP experience is a plus but not required.
• Forklift or overhead crane experience is helpful.
