The instructor will design and implement engaging lesson plans, assess student performance, and provide constructive feedback to support academic growth. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Develop and grade assignments, exams, and other assessments to evaluate student learning.
Provide timely and meaningful feedback to students to support their academic progress.
Maintain regular office hours to offer additional support and guidance to students.

Stay current with developments in the field of history and incorporate relevant research into teaching.
Adhere to institutional policies and contribute to a positive learning environment.

Skills:

The required skills enable the instructor to effectively communicate complex historical concepts and foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation. Strong organizational skills are essential for preparing course materials, managing grading, and maintaining records. Analytical skills support the evaluation of student work and the integration of current historical scholarship into teaching. Preferred skills such as expertise in digital tools enhance the delivery of content through innovative methods, including online platforms. Collaboration and interpersonal skills facilitate productive interactions with students and colleagues, contributing to continuous program improvement and student success.
