Paraeducator - Long Term Substitute

Student Level: Preschool

Salary: Per Paraeducator Agreement $ 22.66

Start/End Dates: On or About December 14 2026 - on or about January 22, 2027

Work Week: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 5.5 hours/day from 9:00-2:30

Position Summary:

Performs intermediate human support work assisting classroom teachers by working with students in the whole group, in small groups or individually and related work as apparent or assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or GED and moderate experience working with children Associates/Technical degree preferred. Experience supporting students with special education needs Experience organizing and managing special education paperwork

Special Requirements:

Must hold AA/AS degree, completed 60 semester credits, approved competency portfolio or pass MN Parapro test Training in Blood Borne Pathogens upon hire. Training in Crisis Prevention Intervention within 6-12 months upon hire as needed for program. Valid driver's license in the State of Minnesota.
