My Client is seeking a skilled, dedicated and proactive Network Engineer with strong interpersonal and project management skills to operate a large-scale LAN/WAN network infrastructure deployed globally.
Responsibilities:
- This is a project delivery focused role within the Data Centers.
- Collaborate across cross-functional teams of Network and Security Architects, Server and Platform Engineers, and Data Center Operations.
- Provide troubleshooting support for complex enterprise network environments.
- Work in an agile environment.
Must Have
- Extensive experience in Firewalls – Palo Alto Networks and Juniper SRX. Must understand the Zone based firewall setup and work with application owners to script the firewall rules following company’s security policy.
- Experience in setting up IPSEC VPNs with multiple vendor firewalls.
- Should have good understanding of L2 technologies and must have experience with Nexus 7k/5k/2k’s and technologies such as Fabric path, Fabric extenders, VPCs.
- Must have design implementation and operational experience with; Enterprise/carrier-class routers and switches (Juniper MX and Cisco Nexus preferred).
- Understand the flow in highly virtualized datacenter environments and troubleshoot related issues.
- Experience in BGP and OSPF.
- Experience in network tools such as Cacti, Nagios and Netflow.
- Able to handle multiple, complex, short term projects and incidents simultaneously.
- Comfortable documenting and explaining network topologies and Diagram explain and plan for future upgrades.
- Strong oral, written, communications, and presentation skills.
Qualifications
Position requirements:
- B.S. in a technical field or a relevant combination of education and experience.
- 7+ years of expertise in implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices, including: firewalls, routers, switches.
