Job summary We are looking for a reliable CNC machinist to keep our printers supplied and our parts moving. You will run CNC mills and lathes from proven programs, machine and resurface build plates, and help finish 3D printed metal parts to specification. This role suits someone with solid hands-on machine experience who takes pride in consistent, careful work and wants to build experience in aerospace manufacturing. What you will do

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, including 5-axis machines, from proven programs; make offset and tool adjustments at the control.
• Machine and resurface build plates to flatness and thickness spec so our printers run on schedule.
• Help finish 3D-printed metal parts using established setups and work instructions.
• Cut plate and stock on the bandsaw or waterjet, as trained.
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges, and flag out-of-tolerance parts immediately.
• Keep tooling, fixtures, and your work area clean, safe, and organized. Required qualifications
• 1+ years of CNC machining experience operating mills or lathes.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measurement tools.
• Basic understanding of G-code and ability to make small edits at the control. • Mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and reliable attendance. Preferred qualifications
• 5-axis machine experience.
• Aerospace or other high-tolerance background.
• Knowledge of additive manufacturing.
• Familiarity with GD&T and CAM software (Mastercam, GibbsCAM, NX, or hyperMILL).

Requirements

• Must be able to commute to Carson, CA 90745, or relocate there before starting.
• Work location: in person, day shift.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and wear required PPE, including a fit-tested respirator when handling metal powder.
• This position requires access to technical data controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
