High School Librarian (temporary)

This is a temporary position from January 4, 2027 to April 26, 2027.

Performance Responsibilities:

1.To instruct and supervise library personnel in the performance of their duties. 2.To employ the most efficient practices in cataloging, reference and circulation work. 3.To establish the procedures for the selection and ordering of all library materials, seeking at all times the co-operation of the entire faculty. 4.To instruct students in the use of the library. 5.To maintain student control which permits all students the opportunity to study quietly. 6.To assist teachers in the more extensive and efficient use of library resources. 7.To co-operate with local libraries to help meet student and local needs. 8.To keep students and faculty informed about new materials which has been added.

Requirements

Vermont Educator License (with School Library Media Specialist endorsement) or ability to apply for a provisional license.
