Bookkeeper / Payroll Specialist

Are you a detail-oriented bookkeeping professional who enjoys helping businesses stay organized and compliant? Our well-established, locally trusted tax and accounting firm is looking for a Bookkeeper / Payroll Specialist to join our team. We are seeking an experienced professional. Knowledge of payroll tax reporting requirements. Proficiency with QuickBooks or Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, strong organizational skills and attention to detail. The ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment. Strong communication skills for working with clients and supporting tax preparation staff. Responsibilities, maintain bookkeeping records, reconcile bank and credit cards accounts. Calculate and process payroll and prepare payroll tax forms, including 941, 940, and W-2s. Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations. Communicate with clients regarding bookkeeping and payroll matters This is a full-time position. Competitive pay based on experience wages range from $45,000.00 to 65,000.00. Benefits include retirement plan, paid holidays and paid vacation and ½ day Fridays in the summer.
