Warehouse Driver

Midwest Shoe Merchants is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented part-time Warehouse Driver to join our team in New Berlin, WI. Working a consistent three-day schedule, you'll transport merchandise between our warehouse and retail locations throughout the Milwaukee area and Niles, IL.

As a Warehouse Driver, you'll play an important role in keeping our stores stocked and ready to serve our customers. From preparing shipments and safely transporting merchandise to coordinating with store teams, your work helps ensure the right products get to the right places.

What You'll Do

• Transport Merchandise Safely: Drive company vehicles to deliver footwear, supplies, and other merchandise between our warehouse and retail locations in Wisconsin and Illinois.
• Prepare and Organize Deliveries: Review delivery schedules, gather shipments, and load merchandise securely to ensure accurate and efficient transportation.
• Load and Unload Merchandise: Safely handle boxes, packages, and other materials while maintaining an organized vehicle and protect products from damage.
• Coordinate with Store Teams: Communicate with warehouse and retail employees to confirm deliveries, address special requests, and ensure merchandise reaches the appropriate locations.
• Maintain Safe Driving Practices: Follow traffic laws, company safety procedures, and vehicle operating guidelines while representing Midwest Shoe Merchants professionally.

Who We're Looking For

• A dependable, self-motivated individual with strong time management and organizational skills
• A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• The ability to safely operate company vehicles and navigate delivery routes using GPS
• Availability to work the established Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday delivery schedule
• Strong attention to detail when preparing, loading, transporting, and delivering merchandise
• The ability to safely lift and move merchandise weighing up to 40 pounds throughout the workday
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Experience operating light- to medium-duty trucks, including vehicles up to 26 feet in length, is helpful but not required.

What We Offer

Pay & Schedule

• $15-18 per hour
• Part-time position, approximately 12–15 hours per week
• Consistent Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday daytime schedule
• No evenings, weekends, or overnight routes
• No work on major holidays

Typical Delivery Schedule

• Tuesdays: Local deliveries throughout the Milwaukee area, approximately 8:30 AM–12:00 PM
• Thursdays: Extended delivery route, including local deliveries and our Niles, IL location, approximately 8:30 AM–4:00 PM
• Fridays: Local deliveries throughout the Milwaukee area, approximately 8:30 AM–12:00 PM

Scheduled hours may vary slightly based on delivery volume, route requirements, and operational needs.
