About our Team:
Micron’s Enterprise Platform Services team manages a large, global, multi-tenant ServiceNow environment supporting Customer, Technology, and Employee Workflows. Our team partners closely with business collaborators, product owners, architects, developers, and delivery partners to improve the value of the platform, accelerate innovation, increase adoption of out-of-the-box capabilities, and deliver scalable, secure solutions that support Micron’s global operations.
Position Overview:
The ServiceNow Product Architect owns the functional and technical direction for an assigned portfolio of ServiceNow products and workflows within Micron’s enterprise ServiceNow ecosystem. This role combines solution architecture, technical product ownership, integration and AI architecture, and design governance while providing selective hands-on technical leadership to ensure scalable solutions, effective prioritization, platform health, and successful business outcomes. The role partners closely with the Enterprise Platform Architect while holding delegated design authority for assigned products and domains.
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end architecture and lifecycle management for assigned ServiceNow products, including discovery, solution design, release planning, adoption, continuous improvement, architecture artifacts, integration patterns, and technical decision records.
- Lead architecture reviews, design governance, and technical standards while establishing reusable patterns, coding standards, integration frameworks, and platform guardrails that reduce technical debt and ensure secure, scalable solutions.
- Serve as the technical product owner for assigned application areas by partnering with business Product Owners to qualify demand, shape requirements into epics and stories, prioritize work using value-based methodologies (e.g., WSJF), and represent products in roadmap, funding, and release discussions.
- Design and govern integrations, data management strategies, CMDB/CSDM alignment, Service Graph architecture, service modeling practices, and adoption of ServiceNow AI capabilities including Now Assist, AI Studio, AI agents, MCP, A2A interactions, agentic workflows, orchestration, and related governance patterns.
- Enable successful delivery by mentoring developers, reviewing code and integration patterns, coordinating with vendors and implementation partners, supporting release and upgrade planning, providing technical triage and executive-priority support, and driving platform health and technical debt remediation initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of enterprise platform or application delivery experience, including 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience across architecture, configuration, integration, and lifecycle ownership.
- Demonstrated experience leading solution architecture in large enterprise environments across multiple business units, regions, or tenants, including architecture reviews, governance, standard-setting, and collaborator influence.
- Hands-on expertise with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, scoped applications, JavaScript, ServiceNow APIs (REST/SOAP), security controls, and Agile product delivery practices including backlog refinement, prioritization, and release planning.
- Experience designing and implementing ServiceNow AI capabilities, including Now Assist, AI Studio, AI agents, MCP, Tools, A2A interactions, agentic workflows, and orchestration, along with experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise ERP, HR, CRM, identity, and security platforms in a global 24x7 environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ServiceNow architecture and implementation experience across multiple domains including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB/CSDM, AIOps, CSM, CRM, HRSD, SecOps, and Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM).
- Experience with Service Graph, Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB governance, configuration management, and data certification programs.
- Demonstrable experience supporting enterprise ServiceNow operations including release automation, deployment management, upgrade planning, instance governance, clone management, and platform health initiatives.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification; Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), Certified Technical Architect (CTA), or Certified Master Architect (CMA) certifications strongly preferred.
- ITIL 4 Foundation certification and Agile product ownership certifications such as SAFe POPM, CSPO, or PSPO, with demonstrated experience leading vendor and implementation partner delivery teams.
