Michael Baker International’s Construction Services staff supports clients by acting as their trusted on-site agent through all phases of construction, from pre-design to close-out, by providing qualified construction managers, inspectors, constructability reviewers, schedulers, estimators and safety experts. What We're Looking For:

Michael Baker is seeking a CPM Scheduler to join the construction services team in Louisville! This position will support the planning, monitoring, and execution of construction projects by developing, reviewing, and analyzing Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules.

What You'll Do:

• Develop, maintain, review, and analyze detailed CPM construction schedules using Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software.
• Review contractor baseline schedules and monthly schedule updates for accuracy, logic, sequencing, progress, and compliance with project requirements.
• Perform critical path, near-critical path, float, and variance analysis to identify schedule risks and potential impacts.
• Prepare schedule progress reports, look-ahead schedules, critical path analyses, and other schedule-related reporting for project teams and clients.
• Evaluate Time Impact Analyses (TIAs), time-extension requests, delays, disruptions, change orders, and potential contractor claims.
• Support delay analysis and assist project teams in identifying schedule recovery and risk-mitigation strategies.
• Work closely with construction managers, engineers, inspectors, contractors, and client representatives to ensure current and accurate project information is incorporated into schedules.
• Participate in and facilitate project scheduling and planning meetings as needed.
• Monitor construction progress against approved schedules and communicate schedule concerns, trends, and potential delays to the project team.
• Provide scheduling support across multiple construction projects as needed.

What You Need to Succeed:

• 5+ years of experience in construction scheduling, project controls, or construction management.
• Experience with CPM scheduling and proficiency in Primavera P6.
• PMP certification, preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, critical path, float, schedule updates, and delay impacts.
• Ability to review contractor schedules, analyze project progress, and clearly communicate schedule issues.

Compensation:

The approximate compensation range for this position is $32/hr - $36/hr. This compensation range is a good-faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
