Chief, Water & Sewer Division (Controller)

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting. A minimum of four to eight years of responsible experience in governmental, utility or public accounting including three years in a supervisory capacity is required. Must have a Certified Public Accountant license.

Recruitment Notes

The incumbent in this position will be responsible for coordinating financial statements and single audits, establishing accounting policies and procedures, coordinating data processing system conversions, supervising inventory management and control, and coordinating work with internal and external auditors. This position will be tasked with managing the Disaster unit including supervising the work of employees engaged in customer retail billing, general accounting, accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable, fixed asset accounting, budget preparation, disaster recovery, and financial monitoring.
