5.75 hr Cafe Worker

DESCRIPTION: A cafeteria worker assists in the preparation and serving of all meals. Other duties include cleaning and sanitizing workstations, operating a cash register, stocking shelves, and any other duties as assigned by the cafeteria manager. A cafeteria worker performs duties that require lifting and/or carrying objects up to 50 pounds in weight and being on your feet for the workday. QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must have knowledge of food techniques, be able to follow written and oral instructions, and operate food service equipment, including computerized cash registers. Applicants should demonstrate accuracy and ability to work with figures, manual dexterity, and the ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Applicants must be in good health and free of communicable diseases.
