Yardhorse Driver - 2nd Shift

Position Summary:

Yardhorse Team Members' basic duties are moving trailers around the Distribution Center from one destination to another. Safe operation of Yardhorse equipment while moving trailers is a requirement. Yardhorse Team Members will be working outside dealing with elements such as rain, snow, wind, dust, and heat.

Duties & Responsiblities:

• Moving all types of trailers (vans, flatbeds, quad-axles, etc.) around the facility to specific locations
• Scaling all trailer types to maximize weight expectations and be within D.O.T. requirements
• Inspecting trailers for safe operation, proper strapping, and road-worthiness
• Cleaning and picking up the yard/trailer lots as needed, as well as the trucks

Knowledge & Experience:

• General driving knowledge required
• Forklift experience is preferred
• Knowledge of D.O.T. general freight securement required

Skills & Abilities:

• 10 - 20 pound lifting ability consistently
• Moving around for full shift on a daily basis (sitting, standing, and steps)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving skills required

Working Conditions:

Work Environment: Outside conditions. Working in the snow, rain, cold, and heat.

Hours/Shifts: 8.5-hour shifts

Knowledge & Experience:

• General driving knowledge required
