Job Description

Worksite: 194 S. Wood Avenue, Iselin, NJ 08830.

Job Description: Design and develop software for applications in C#, SQL, HTML, .NET Framework, ASP.NET Webforms and MVC. Database Management with SQL Server code optimization. Web Services and APIs - Develop and maintain web services and APIs. Front-End Development - UI software design and development in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. Build and maintain server side applications ensuring functional, scalability, and performance. Create and maintain unit tests, troubleshoot applications. Collaborate and work with cross functional teams to deliver software solutions. Work with the documentation teams to update any required documentation for changes in the product. Work with new technologies to improve existing systems and processes. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days a week according to company policy.

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Mathematics or in related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.

Special Requirements: Position requires experience, knowledge or coursework in each of the following skills:

• Authoring complex SQL queries, storing procedures and functions in Microsoft SQL Server, and optimizing database operations;
• Enterprise application development and Enterprise-scale internet applications;
• Developing and executing the automated unit testing case for using MS test for web application;
• Developing RESTful Web APIs using C# and the .NET Framework, integrating business logic and data access via Entity Framework;
• Agile SDLC, SQL Databases, TFS, SVN and Unit Testing;
• Developing UI related user functionalities using HTML, JavaScript and CSS for SPA Angular application;
• Develop Web API using C#/.NET Framework to execute the business logic and interface with the data operations;
• Developing SQL queries, Stored Procedure, Functions in MS SQL Server, LINQ queries in Entity framework to perform operation on DB;
• Working within an Agile environment to deliver iterative releases and participating in planning and reviews.
