Job Description

The Environmental Technician. The ET will demonstrate competence to conduct site surveys to identify, quantify and collect representative samples for asbestos, lead, mold, bacteria, soot, and other indoor air quality (IAQ) or industrial hygiene (IH) parameters, including operation of associated equipment. The ET will have in his/her possession a valid state of California, Certified Site Surveillance Technician (CSST) or Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC) credential, or other state accreditation(s) to conduct asbestos inspection and abatement project monitoring in their regional service area.
