Assistant General Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking dynamic and experienced Assistant General Managers to support our McDonald's restaurants. As an Assistant General Manager (AGM), you'll work side-by-side with the General Manager to lead the restaurant, develop people, and deliver an outstanding experience for our customers.

AGMs ensure the restaurant operates profitably while upholding McDonald's standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.

If you have previous quick-service or fast casual management experience and are interested in pursuing McDonald’s restaurant management the AGM role could be for you. Selected candidates will qualify for training and development opportunities to earn the qualifications needed to be fully certified as a McDonald’s General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Support all aspects of restaurant operations, including food production, guest service, and team management.
• People Management: Support human resource processes, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, staffing, and training.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to food safety measures and maintain high standards for guest, employee safety and restaurant security.
• Operational Excellence: Support restaurant operations and ensure the restaurant meets and exceeds standards of excellence.

Qualifications:

• Commitment to excellence and workplace safety.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to anticipate customer needs.
• Proven ability to make decisions and provide solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in restaurant management or a related field is required.
