Journeyman Electrician

MC Electric is looking for a Journeyman Electrician to fill out their team.

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Installation: Run conduit, install wiring, set up switchgear, and connect panels, fixtures, outlets, and transformers according to blueprints.

• Troubleshooting & Repair: Use diagnostic tools (multimeters, clamp meters) to locate, analyze, and fix circuit failures, ground faults, and equipment breakdowns.

• Code Compliance: Ensure all work strictly adheres to the National Electrical Code (NEC){target="_blank" rel="noopener" ved="2ahUKEwi05piw4q2XAxVYJzQIHXjWPIIQy_kOegoIAggACAAIFhAQ" hveid="CAIIAAgACBYQEA"} (NFPA 70) and local municipal safety regulations.

• Blueprints & Planning: Read and interpret single-line diagrams, architectural schematics, and technical layouts.

• Apprentice Mentorship: Supervise, train, and guide apprentice electricians on job sites per legal ratio limits.

• Safety Protocols: Follow OSHA guidelines, wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and manage lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures.

Requirements are experience in Residental & Commercial work. Employer would be open to a 4th-year Apprentice.

Wage $37.00 DOE
