Position Summary Mayesh Wholesale Florist is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead daily operations, drive profitability, and build a high-performing team. This position oversees the branch’s core functions, including sales, warehousing, inventory management, pricing, production, and distribution. The Branch Manager is responsible for achieving sales and financial objectives, maintaining operational efficiency, fostering a positive employee culture, and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a passion for operational excellence, employee development, and business growth. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Branch Operations and Leadership

• Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring all departments work efficiently and effectively.
• Coordinate and monitor activities across production, warehousing, pricing, and distribution.
• Develop and implement business plans to support branch performance and company objectives.
• Establish staffing levels, create schedules, assign workloads, and delegate responsibilities.
• Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments and senior management to support company-wide initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Financial and Business Performance

• Drive branch sales, profitability, and overall financial performance.
• Monitor and manage gross profit margins.
• Review financial statements, sales reports, and operational data to evaluate branch performance.
• Establish and monitor productivity and quality goals.
• Strive to achieve or exceed budgeted financial objectives.
• Set and/or approve sales pricing.
• Measure and report on the effectiveness of warehousing and other operational activities.

Inventory and Warehouse Management

• Oversee inventory management, rotation, and product quality control.
• Ensure proper care and handling of floral products and supplies.
• Maintain attractive, organized, and efficient product merchandising.
• Coordinate with vendors to support seasonal availability, product logistics, quality, and value.
• Minimize product waste and shrink.
• Ensure accurate and timely physical inventory counts, including weekly fresh inventory counts and semiannual supply inventory counts.
• Monitor delivery operations and routes to support efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Customer Service and Sales Support

• Maintain strong customer relationships and monitor customer service performance.
• Support sales and marketing initiatives to drive business growth.
• Ensure branch operations consistently meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Partner with sales teams to support customer needs and branch objectives.

Employee Development and Human Resources

• Provide leadership, direction, and vision to branch employees.
• Foster a positive and productive workplace culture.
• Support employee training, development, and performance management.
• Promote employee engagement, accountability, and professional growth.
• Collaborate with Human Resources to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate employee relations and support the development of a high-performing team.

Safety and Compliance

• Ensure a safe working environment for employees and customers.
• Communicate and enforce all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Attend required safety meetings.
• Maintain compliance with the Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).
• Ensure branch operations comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• College degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in operations management, organizational effectiveness, or business leadership.
• Knowledge of financial and accounting principles and practices.
• Knowledge of human resources principles and practices.
• Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and employee management skills.
• Ability to analyze financial and operational data and make informed business decisions.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
