Heavy Equipment Mechanic

MasterTech is on the search for experienced Diesel Mechanics in York PA.

Mechanics will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a diverse line of heavy equipment in a shop environment. Leadership roles and growth available.

Compensation:

• $32.00 - $45.00/hour based on experience, training, certifications, etc.

Shift:

• Day Shift; Monday to Friday
• Overtime available.

Key Qualifications:

• 3 or more years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic, or completion of a Diesel Technology/Mechanic program.
• Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Proficient with diagnostic scanning tools.
• Welding experience is preferred.
• OEM Training is a major asset.
• Working knowledge on construction, earth moving, forestry, mining, landscaping, etc., equipment is preferred.
