Material Handler

Essential Functions: - Provides support to operators through efficient, on-time delivery of WIP, containers, and other materials to the work cells - Monitor scrap dumpsters and dump scrap in designated hoppers - Remove finished goods containers and transport to correct storage area, and scan accordingly - Perform maintenance and safety checks on forklifts and other material handling equipment for which the associate is responsible - Remove WIP containers and move to correct designated location and scan accordingly - Follow all plant requirements for transport and stacking of containers - Monitor condition of containers and move damaged containers to container repair area - Maintain storage container organization in accordance with the plant layout - Any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the Weld Assembly Supervisor
