Job Duties

Job Summary

Responsible for the execution of tasks assigned by the Arena Manager and Facilities Operations Manager in supporting the daily operations of the arena.

Areas of Responsibility

• Maintenance and preparation of the ice surface for customers. Including: resurfacing, edging, shaving, building ice, depth checks and compressor readings.

2.Maintaining a clean, safe environment around the arena including: ice rink, training center, locker rooms, shower and bathroom facilities, upper and lower lobbies, bleacher seats and standing areas in bleachers.

3.Assist with snow removal around the front entrance, emergency exits and stairway leading to front entrance. Also, assist with the removal of litter on the grounds.

4.Daytime or night -time rink attendant should be able to prioritize immediate needs, problem-solve, work independently, while not requiring constant supervision.

5.Communicating concerns or questions regarding customers, and/or issues related to the physical properties of the arena and its grounds to the Facility Operations Manager and/or the Arena Manager.
