Driver/Dispatcher

Marion Transportation has an exciting opening for a Driver/Dispatcher. DUTIES: Bus Driving, assist with training new staff, specific clerical duties such as answer phones, dispatch to buses, perform other tasks needed within the department office, record keeping as needed.

Job Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years as a school bus driver; previous dispatcher experience a plus; preferred 19A Licensed Examiner or eligible for the course; knowledge of radio communication equipment; good communication skills; highly organized; ability to operate in emergencies; follow directives; perform efficiently, professionally, and with courtesy on telephone, radio, and in person with staff.
