ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Software Developer to join our team. This is a remote position that requires travel to Clarksburg, WV one time per year. In the role you will apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis principles to design, develop, test, and integrate critical software applications supporting our national security customer.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software and specialized utility programs.
• Analyze user needs and operational specifications to design and formulate robust software requirements.
• Design, customize, and optimize software for client use with an emphasis on operational efficiency and scalability.
• Analyze, design, and manage databases within application areas, collaborating cross-functionally and working independently.
• Research, design, develop, and test systems-level software, embedded systems software, compilers, and network distribution applications.
• Conduct code development, debugging, testing, integration, and ongoing software maintenance.
• Analyze complex technical problems independently and deliver end-to-end software solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma and 12+ years of relevant IT experience; or a Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years of experience; or a Master’s Degree and 4+ years of experience.
• 6+ years of hands-on software development experience with Java and JavaScript in Linux environments.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience developing with Node.js, Spring/Spring Boot, and Python.
• 6+ years of experience working within an Agile/Scrum development lifecycle.
• Hands-on development experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), AWS Lambda, and AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and AWS DynamoDB.
• Ability to analyze existing application logic, develop new application architectures, and independently resolve complex technical challenges.

Security Clearance Requirements:

• Active/current Secret clearance is required.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

The projected compensation range for this position is $94,800.00-$157,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
