Original job description

Our client, a leading consumer-focused organization, is seeking a Sr. Digital Experience Designer to join their team. As a Sr. Digital Experience Designer, you will be part of the Digital Experience Design team supporting cross-functional product, marketing, content, creative, and development partners. The ideal candidate will bring a user-obsessed mindset, strong art direction and visual communication skills, and the ability to clearly present and explain design rationale to both technical and non-technical partners.

Job Title: Sr. Digital Experience Designer

Location: Hybrid in Saint Louis, Missouri (4 days on-site Monday–Thursday; Fridays work from home)

Pay Range: $60 - $75/hr on W2

What's the Job?

  • Design end-to-end front-end experiences for websites, applications, and responsive/adaptive digital touchpoints.
  • Translate consumer needs, business requirements, brand objectives, and content priorities into intuitive journeys, information architecture, interaction patterns, and polished user interfaces.
  • Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, page layouts, and high-fidelity designs that communicate clear design intent.
  • Bring a content design mindset to shape hierarchy, messaging flow, calls to action, labels, and supporting content so consumers can quickly understand and act.
  • Collaborate across teams to support delivery through design reviews and quality assurance for layout, responsive behavior, typography, interactions, accessibility, and overall design integrity.

What's Needed?

  • 5 or more years of experience in UX/UI, product design, digital design, experience design, or a related discipline.
  • Strong working knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Experience designing within front-end experiences for websites and applications across responsive breakpoints.
  • Ability to connect consumer insights and data (including behavioral signals and relevant user context) with pragmatic, structured design decisions.
  • Portfolio that includes online examples of UX/UI, digital product, and visual or content-led design work (not just website mockups - show user needs/journeys and how your work supports them).

What's in it for me?

  • Opportunity to bridge product experience design, content design, and visual communication into cohesive, consumer-centered digital experiences.
  • Work on a new 12-month role created due to increased workload, collaborating alongside peers and partner writers.
  • Design a hybrid experience that supports ongoing relationships through personalized digital content across email, push notifications, and app content cards.
  • Focus on user-centered problem solving with shared ownership across product, marketing, content, creative, and development teams.
  • Interview process centered on your work and experience - share how you describe your creative process and strategic reasoning.

Upon completion of waiting period consultants are eligible for:
