Press Operator

Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour

Shift: 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM

Schedule: Rotating schedule of 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, and 3 days off, including weekends.

Position Summary

We are seeking dependable and motivated Press Operators to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating rubber press equipment, monitoring product quality, maintaining production standards, and following all safety procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Load raw materials into press equipment according to established procedures.
• Operate and monitor press machinery to ensure production and quality standards are met.
• Inspect products for quality defects and perform necessary corrective actions.
• Trim excess material from finished products.
• Complete production, quality, and process documentation accurately.
• Process products through cooling units according to procedures.
• Stack and place finished products on pallets or designated storage areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and quality regulations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work a rotating overnight schedule, including weekends.
• Steel toe or composite toe shoes required.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment that can become very hot during summer months.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
