Manpower is currently seeking a Machine Shop Operator for a manufacturing company in Mead, CO. This is a great opportunity for someone with machining or shop experience who enjoys a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment focused on quality and continuous improvement.

What will you be doing?

• Prepare jobs by building tooling, setting up fixturing, preparing materials, and loading work and tool offsets
• Coordinate with programmers regarding job status and process improvements
• Troubleshoot machining and production issues to minimize downtime
• Safely load and unload materials and equipment
• Support continuous improvement efforts and identify opportunities to increase efficiency
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery
• Measure, inspect, and record part dimensions and quality data
• Support daily production activities while maintaining quality standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

What do you bring?

• Previous machine shop or manufacturing experience
• Familiarity with machine shop equipment, measuring tools, and quality inspection processes
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to handle the physical demands of the position
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
