Are you energized by turning complex cloud resiliency goals into real, repeatable disaster recovery outcomes? I’m looking for an IT Project Manager - Cloud Disaster Recovery Test who can lead planning, coordination, and governance of cloud disaster recovery testing across a portfolio of applications. From my perspective, this role is where strong program leadership, disciplined execution, and clear stakeholder alignment come together to help ensure recovery objectives are met and evidence is audit ready.

Job Title: IT Project Manager - Cloud Disaster Recovery Test

Location: Charlotte , NC

Payrate: $50/hr on w2

What's the Job?

Manage and coordinate disaster recovery testing for multiple cloud-hosted applications, ensuring testing activities are planned, scheduled, executed, and documented in accordance with program requirements.
Partner with application owners, cloud engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, business continuity, and business stakeholders to establish testing scope, objectives, recovery scenarios, and success criteria.
Develop and maintain integrated testing schedules, project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and remediation tracking across a large application portfolio.
Facilitate test planning meetings, readiness reviews, test execution bridges, post-test reviews, and governance forums.
Coordinate recovery validation activities and ensure achievement of established RTO, RPO, and resiliency objectives.

What's Needed?

Proven experience in IT Project Management, Technical Program Management, Disaster Recovery, Technology Resilience, Infrastructure Operations, or Technology Governance.
Strong understanding of cloud technologies, disaster recovery principles, application recovery testing, business continuity concepts, and operational resilience frameworks.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams, stakeholders, and project dependencies within a complex technology environment.
Experience developing and maintaining project plans, status reporting, risk management artifacts, executive communications, and governance documentation.
Proficiency with project and workflow management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, ServiceNow, and SharePoint.

What's in it for me?

Opportunity to drive successful cloud resiliency outcomes through structured testing governance and cross-functional coordination.
Chance to strengthen stakeholder alignment by translating recovery objectives into clear scenarios, success criteria, and measurable results.
Role visibility through regular reporting of testing status, risks, issues, and recovery results to senior management and executive stakeholders.
Experience building and maintaining integrated schedules, evidence, and remediation tracking across dozens of applications and multiple testing cycles.
Support for continuous improvement initiatives related to cloud resiliency, recovery automation, testing standards, and governance processes.
