Our client, Industrial manufacturing team is seeking a General Laborer to join their team. As a General Laborer, you will be part of the Production and Quality support group supporting daily operations. The ideal candidate will have reliability, strong attention to detail, and a team-first mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: General Laborer - Multiple roles available including General Laborer, Forklift Operator, and Quality Lab Technician
Location: Elk Rapids, MI
Pay Range: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience
Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
What's the Job?
- Sort fruit and support quality checks to help keep production moving.
- Assist with operating machinery such as fillers and closing machines, and support labeling/production lines.
- Break down boxes, sweep and mop floors, and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Support warehouse and production flow by stacking pallets and keeping the production line supplied.
- Follow assigned tasks and communicate with supervisors to ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
What's Needed?
- Reliable attendance and a willingness to show up ready to work each scheduled day.
- Previous manufacturing experience a plus but not required.
- Team player attitude with the willingness to help others and support shared goals.
- For forklift-related responsibilities: excellent attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- For quality lab responsibilities: attention to detail, ability to stand, walk, and lift 8–10 pounds daily, strong communication, willingness to learn, organized time management, and reliability.
