Are you mechanically inclined and enjoy hands-on work? We're seeking a Clean & Finish Technician to join our production team. This role is responsible for preparing, finishing, and inspecting products to ensure they meet the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
Product Cleaning & Finishing
- Clean tanks, components, and finished products according to company standards
- Remove excess material using hand and power tools, including grinders, sanders, and buffers
- Smooth, polish, and finish products to meet quality requirements
- Apply coatings, sealants, and other finishing touches as needed
Quality Inspection
- Perform visual inspections to identify defects or inconsistencies
- Verify finished products meet customer and company quality standards
- Report quality concerns and accurately document production information
Production & Equipment Operation
- Safely operate finishing equipment and specialized production tools
- Complete secondary production tasks including drilling, trimming, grinding, taping, and assembly
- Follow work instructions, production procedures, and safety guidelines
- Read measurements and use mechanical aptitude to complete tasks accurately
Qualifications
- Manufacturing or skilled labor experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to read measurements and follow written instructions
- Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
